Marty's Family Reader
Grades 2 - 5

box box Students read about Marty Mathews' many interesting relatives and ancestors in stories authored by an experienced reading specialist. The series contains 160 stories in all, 40 stories for each grade. Each story is illustrated, and each is accompanied by eight comprehension questions. Glossary words are provided. The Audio Support feature enables students to click on and hear any words with which they have difficulty.





Program Options: Choose Reading Comprehension or Vocabulary Testing. Select a reading level targeted at grade 2-5. Story sets A-D at each grade level get progressively more challenging. Audio support may be turned ON or OFF. An optional reading pace feature may be adjusted to promote efficient reading and quicker perception.

Options and Easy Track: Set activity options for the whole class all at once or for any selected group or individual.

Student Records: A summary screen provides feedback on student performance for the latest session, last 5 sessions, and cumulative work to date. Scores may be viewed as number right/total, as a percent, or as a letter grade. Student records may be printed. Open Easy Track for more detailed records. Compare individual records to class, grade level, or selected group averages. Assess graphs of student growth for any specific learning objective. A variety of charts and graphs may be customized and are available for printing.
