Clock Faces
English and Spanish
Grades 1 - 4

box box Join Captain Chronometer, Father Time, Sunny, Sandy, and Second-Hand Rose for lots of fun telling time, setting the time, and mastering calendar skills. Teachers may select time intervals of 1 hour, 1/2 hour, 1/4 hour, 5 minutes, or 1 minute for time-telling practice. Also select time and calendar word problems! All activities in English and Spanish.

Program settings and student records are saved in class files. Summary screens may be printed. Entertaining time-telling characters keep students interested and coming back time and time again.

Program Options: For activity 1, choose simply Telling Time or Time Word Problems. You may also choose to have students provide their answers in a multiple choice or fill-in-the-blank format. The fill-in-the-blank format requires students to use the colon when giving the time and demands greater overall mastery than does the multiple choice format. Also choose to have students tell time to intervals of hour, half hour, quarter hour, five minutes, or 1minute. For acivitiy 2, Setting Time, also set desired interval limitations. For activity 2 you may also include alternate ways of stating time such as "quarter past", "half past", "minutes to", "minutes before", etc. For Activity 3, Calendar Skills, you may focus on any or all of the following: Days of the Week, Months of the Year, Identifying Dates Level 1 (current month), Identifying Dates Level 2 ( any month), or solving word problems. Activity 4 requires students to match analog and digital times in a "concentration" game format. Set prefered time interval limitations. For all activities, choose to present problems in either English or Spanish.

Options and Easy Track: Set activity options for the whole class all at once or for any selected group or individual.
